So Aguessy Raboteur (born December 5, 1988) is an artist and designer who graduated from the Écoles Supérieures de Beaux-Arts in Le Mans and Le Havre where she studied art, graphic design, and space design. Born to a Franco-Beninese mother and a Guadeloupean father, her inspirations draw their sources directly from the history of her origins. Through her portraits, she seeks to question her multicultural heritage.
In 2016, she started her career by being selected to participate in the Contemporary Art Fair Pool Art Fair in Guadeloupe.
In 2017 she went to New York to exhibit at the “Clio Art fair” contemporary art fair. Then in 2018 she was selected to participate in the “Éclats d’îles” exhibition in Paris where Lilian Thuram and Kareen Giuock will acquire one of her paintings. In 2018, she received the Youth Trophy in the Culture category from the City of Petit-Bourg. In 2022 she exhibits in Saint-Malo during the Route du Rhum at the Pavilion of the Islands of Guadeloupe to represent Guadeloupean art. She exhibits in Guadeloupe,
in Paris, New York, Portugal and Martinique.
